Well, the news circulated that ASUS will hold the launch of its latest smartphone in Delhi, India, on October 17, 2018. From the various sources we read, it seems that the smartphone will be the successor to the ZenFone Max Pro M1 series.

A report close to ASUS said that the Taiwanese manufacturer of technology devices would introduce the successor to the Zenfone Max Pro. There will be two models introduced, namely the regular variant and the 'Lite' which is of course oriented to smartphones at affordable prices.

Another estimate, both of these smartphones will be sold for less than INR12,000 or around IDR 2.5 million. If the price offered by ASUS is correct, of course, the presence of the smartphone will interfere with the low-end segment, where Chinese brands rule, such as OPPO and Xiaomi.

Still, from the same source, the two smartphones from ASUS are suspected to come with the Snapdragon 400 Series chipset. The chipset used is still similar to that of the Zenfone Max M1 which was never released in India. But what is interesting is this smartphone will have notch alias bangs on the screen. Because this is a ZenFone Max variant, it is estimated that these two new smartphones will also be strengthened with jumbo batteries.
