At the State of Play event, Infinity Ward showed off a new trailer from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If the trailer previously focused on multiplayer mode and other features, this latest trailer focuses on campaign mode and storyline.
In the trailer, Captain Price is told on a mission to another country to work with Farrah who is the leader of the rebel forces.
The storyline of Modern Warfare will also present chemical weapons and complicated conflicts.
It is quite surprising how this trailer is displayed at the State of Play given the lack of good relations between Activision and Sony. Previously, Activision had promised that this month they would show the other side of the Modern Warfare game before the release.
Activision itself has previously released a roadmap through their official Twitter account. At the beginning of October, the game will be shown in the Special Ops mode.
Modern Warfare itself could reap the controversy regarding the multiplayer mode and its campaign. Despite seeing the characters returning in the game, some people who saw the preview of the campaign expressed their discomfort with the existing storyline.
Infinity Ward himself said that this game will take a different approach from other Modern Warfare games.
Although working together Farrah and Captain Price are two different camps and the question will arise later who exactly is the enemy in the game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on October 25, 2019, for the PlayStation 4 platform, Xbox One and PC. Who can't wait to see Captain Price reacting again?
