Activision announces Call of Duty: Mobile will be released on Android and iOS devices on October 1, 2019. This mobile game developed by Timi Studio Tencent will be available for free to players.
Multiplayer and battle royale modes can be directly played at launch, with "time-limited events and playlists" that will continue to be updated. With multiplayer, Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-For-All modes will be available for players, reported Polygon.
Popular maps such as Nuketown, Crash, and Hijacked are also expected to appear in this mobile version.
Just like battle royale in other games, battle royale Call of Duty: Mobile will start with 100 fighters landing in the map area and fight to be the last person or team to survive.
Weapons and vehicles will be scattered throughout the map, which has been specifically adapted for the mobile game version.
The mobile version of Call of Duty was first announced in March, with a beta test being run during the summer in selected regions ’.
"We have tested the game extensively in selected regions, and the feedback we have received has helped us to improve the (game) experience for (release) October 1," explained Activision's mobile vice president, Chris Plummer.
This game will be available on iOS and Android devices in all countries that have been supported by Google Play and the App Store, except for mainland China, Vietnam, and Belgium.
